“Branga Plains is situated on the Southern end of the New England Tablelands at an elevation of approximately 1200 metres. We run 2500 breeding cows made up of Herefords, Angus and their crosses. Our cross breeding program utilises Charolais and Shorthorn as well.
We supply cattle to Teys that fits in with their Grasslands brand. In order to maintain sustainable product integrity, we are enrolled in the LPA QA and are also EU and PCAS Accredited. These accreditations give us access to most of the top end markets around the world, and have a synergy with our pasture production system.
We gain a great deal of satisfaction out of marrying good genetics and good nutrition derived from an environment that provides excellent pastures. Beef production is a consumer sensitive industry, and we are using all available tools of the industry to improve our product and attempt to give our customers a consistently high quality and delicious product. The beef consumer of today is very lucky – they have the opportunity to source beef that is underpinned by a world leading grading system, and they have access to some of the best quality beef in the world, including Teys Grasslands Premium Beef.”
