To continue the momentum of our new 36º South brand, we held a Supply Chain Connect event in late September. The purpose of this event was to engage key supply chain partners in an end-to-end supply chain experience, enabling Chefs, distribution partners from China and cattle producers to connect whilst enjoying the pairing of South Australia’s finest wine and beef.
The event kicked off with a Naracoorte site tour for high profile Adelaide chefs and Chinese customers, followed by a property tour of Zema Estate, who not only supply us with cattle for the 36° South brand but are also outstanding winemakers.
The day culminated in a 36° South Big Beef Lunch held at the Hollick vineyard in Penola. This hearty lunch was hosted by celebrity chef Adrian Richardson, who is a fantastic ambassador for our brands, the owner of renowned Melbourne bistro La Luna and the star of the Good Chef Bad Chef and Secret Meat Business series.
Feedback from our guests was excellent, and everyone involved appreciated the opportunity to connect with the full supply chain.
