As a producer of red meat for a global community, we discharge our environmental responsibilities with utmost care and diligence. Our role brings with it a significant commitment to the broader community to improve, invest in, and report on the environmental performance of our operations.

We set clear, measurable targets to reduce our environmental impacts, including our consumption of energy, water and the amount of waste we send to landfill. Teys Australia recently developed a 5-year resource efficiency, carbon intensity and renewables investment target – a first in the Australian red meat industry.

We are committed to ensuring that we meet a high standard of environmental performance that adheres to all relevant legislative and customer requirements, and that we continuously improve our environmental processes and performance.
