On the 16th and 17th of November, the Young Beef Producers’ Forum (YBPF) will take place in Roma. This forum attracts beef producers from all around Australia, and is designed to provide educational, networking and capacity building opportunities for people under 40 with beef industry interests. The theme for this years YBPF is ‘Realise Your Opportunities’ – it is intended to inspire, engage and change the lives of those who attend.
According to organising committee chair Sarah Packer, “Based on the registrations we’ve received to date, the forum is set to attract over 100 youngsters from all over Australia… It will equip young beef producers with the ability to make a difference in all aspects of their lives, including on-farm, off-farm, family, personal and business matters.”
The program’s line up of speakers comprises of a diverse range of experts from the agriculture industry, including our very own Tom McGuire. Whatever your connection to the beef industry, this year’s Young Beef Producers’ Forum is not to be missed.
